Amar Basra is an experienced employer brand researcher. She brings almost 20 years of experience as a market researcher and significant global EB experience working across a range of clients for award-winning agencies in the U.K and Australia. 


She has worked with global organisations, and more recently with some of Australia’s most recognised companies, supporting creative and strategy teams with uncovering the insights and emotional connection to attract candidates and bring the employee experience to life.


Amar uses a variety of research methods to support teams with employee value proposition development and talent proposition messaging, such as discovery research, competitor analysis, depth interviewing, online and face-to-face focus groups. 


Amar holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B (Hons) Law) from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK, and a Master of Laws, Public Law (LL.M Public Law) from University College, London.

Charlie Pearson

Charlie has 20+ years of UK and USA ad agency experience as a Creative Art Director/ Visual, UI, UX Designer, with an instinctive passion for emerging products and platforms that drive social connection. He has built employer brand campaigns, creative processes, and teams of talent for a number of creative consultancies.

Charlie led the lauded initiative to launch the first-ever B2B app in the App Store, collaborating with Adobe and iTunes enabling ExxonMobil to migrate its sales tools into the digital space.

He also empowered Nike to grow its digital department in Portland, Oregon 250% by leading the design and implementation of Nike’s 'Inspire Greatness' Employer Branding advertising campaign geared to Silicon Valley’s technical talent.

Charlie drove the ideation and execution of the “Full Bean Coffee” influential advertising campaign for McDonald’s that ranked as the 4th most creative advertisement ever used by the brand. 

Recognition includes Cannes Lion Direct; New Media Age Campaign of the Month; D&AD, Global Association for Creative Advertising & Design; and Kodak Films, Advertising Category.

Teri's expertise lies in enabling the achievement of business strategy by building individual and organisational capability, and leading teams of functional experts engaged to diagnose, develop and implement solutions related to:

James Slade-Symons is the Founder & Managing Partner of Macarthur Human Capital (MHC), which has offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. With over 20 years’ experience advising executives and boards from leading brands, to start-ups throughout Australia and the UK, James has garnered a wealth of experience as a leader, board director and human resources consultant.


More recently, James has worked closely with sectors that have been at the forefront of change and transformation. His corporate advisory, organisational development and innovative HR practices have defined MHC as a highly regarded consultancy, with a reputation for optimising organisational impact, efficiency and commercial performance.


Prior to MHC, James held HR leadership positions with Vodafone, Coles Myer and Chandler Macleod, where he consulted to clients such as BHP, Serco, Glencore, Aurizon and a range of Government organisations. During this time James led projects which included change management, leadership development, HR & corporate strategy and organisational development initiatives with outstanding success.


James is passionate about taking a back to basics approach.
